Philip Jewson

I'm a composer and keyboard player working in the field of music for media - television, film & commercials. I've worked on several projects with Richard Durrant and in 2005 he asked if I would compose something for a forthcoming Longman Records CD 'A Scattering of Snow' a sampler featuring several artists: Richard Durrant, Nick Pynn & the Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain being among the instrumental contributors.

I conceived 'Glacial Flow' as a work in several movements and recorded two of them for the CD: 'Snowfall (accumulation)' and 'Becoming Névé (compaction through melting and refreezing)

I'm working on recording the whole work as part of a solo CD that is due to be released later in 2006.
